Basketball Recap: Putnam Takes a Loss

Putnam lost against Wheeler back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Putnam Clippers took a hard 59-43 fall against the Wheeler Lions.

Putnam dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wheeler, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam and Bacon Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Wheeler, they will be playing at home against Waterford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
