Southwest Onslow is 7-1-1 against Pender since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Stallions will host the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, Southwest Onslow came up short against East Duplin and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for Southwest Onslow in their meetings with East Duplin: they've now lost six in a row.

Southwest Onslow's goal came courtesy of Logan Moyer, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Pender kept a clean sheet against Heide Trask on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Titans 1-0. Pender haven't had any issues with Heide Trask recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Pender's win bumped their record up to 7-10-2. As for Southwest Onslow, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
