            Volleyball Recap: Burlington Red Devils vs. Wakefield Memorial Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Burlington was the  3-2 winner over Wakefield Memorial when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell  3-1 to the Warriors on Tuesday.
 Burlington was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wakefield Memorial work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 17-25, 26-24,  25-17.
 Among those leading the charge was   Brendia Diaz, who  had nine  digs. That's the most  digs  she has posted  over her last five  matches.
Burlington's defeat  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-3. As for Wakefield Memorial, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burlington will  take on  rival Woburn Memorial  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wakefield Memorial is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Reading Memorial  at 5:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
