Basketball Recap: Dawson County Comes Up Short

Dawson County suffered their biggest defeat since February 15, 2025 on Friday. They were dealt a 61-30 loss at the hands of the Hardin Bulldogs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Red Devils' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Dawson County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Hardin, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Dawson County will face off against Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hardin, they will welcome Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
