Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If St. Mary's Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Serra on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Belles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Belles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

St. Mary's Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Academy will take on Ramona Convent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they will challenge Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
