After failing to score in their last match, Houston Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Ariton on Thursday. They blew past the Purple Cats 7-1. The result was nothing new for Houston Academy, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Nate Selig and Robert Egbert scored all seven of Houston Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 54 goals.

Houston Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 65 goals over those ten matchups. As for Ariton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston Academy will head out to take on Northside Methodist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ariton, they will venture away from home to square off against Providence Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Ariton surely won't give up without a fight.
