Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Christian Academy). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 win over the Oglethorpe County Patriots on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Providence Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Truong out in front who posted 21 points. Truong's afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Smith, who earned 11 points.

Providence Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Oglethorpe County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Providence Christian Academy and Oglethorpe County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Providence Christian Academy (ranked 193rd) will meet Elbert County (ranked 30th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Oglethorpe County will take on Athens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 255 places (330 vs. 75).
