Ash Grove hadn't beaten Marionville on the road since February 25, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. It was close, but the Pirates capped 2025 with a 47-44 win over the Comets. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ash Grove's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Marionville, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2.
