Baseball Recap: Plainfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Linden on Thursday, Plainfield came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Piscataway Chiefs by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 15-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Piscataway, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Plainfield will venture away from home to challenge Brearley at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Piscataway, they will welcome Carteret at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
