The Tyler Classical Academy Eagles's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Trinity School of Texas 40-18. That 40-18 margin sets a new team best for Tyler Classical Academy this season.
Tyler Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Ethan Jones, who scored 11 points.
Tyler Classical Academy's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. As for Trinity School of Texas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyler Classical Academy will take on Leverett's Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for Trinity School of Texas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poetry Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Poetry Community Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
