Softball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calvary Chapel Academy can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the City of Life Christian Academy Warriors on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-8 defeat on April 1st.

Calvary Chapel Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilian Stuart, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Lily Kuennen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Calvary Chapel Academy and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Calvary Chapel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Morningside Academy on the 29th.
