Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Spring). They took down the Snyder Tigers 49-35 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Steers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aedyn Claxton and Tyson Burleson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Claxton threw for 195 yards and three TDs, while Burleson rushed for 117 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Big Spring now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Snyder, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Spring will face off against Fort Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Steers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
