Pasco's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 23-13 victory over Hermiston. The win was some much needed relief for Pasco as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Hermiston lost, don't look at James Young. Despite the final result, he picked up 136 receiving yards and two TDs. Young showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 50 yards.

Pasco's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Hermiston, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pasco is set to challenge their familiar foe Hanford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hermiston will take on rival Kennewick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
