Baseball Recap: Greenfield Starts Season with Win at Home

Greenfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Marina Mariners 16-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

The team relied heavily on Kenny Pajas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Ramos, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Greenfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marina only posted an OBP of .238.

Coming up, Greenfield will host Marina at 3:30 p.m. on March 6th. As for Marina, they have already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against Calaveras on the 1st.
