Basketball Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Stevens Falcons
Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 65-51 bruising from the Stevens Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 90-54 back in November of 2024.

Jaylen Conrad and Joseph Ramon certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Conrad went 8 for 18 en route to 21 points, while Ramon posted 15 points. The contest was Conrad's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Stevens had a senior duo take command as Jose Ochoa dropped a double-double on 19 points and 20 boards and Cesar Roman went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ochoa has scored all season. Zane Schunior was another key player, putting up ten points.
Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Stevens, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Taft the next time they take the court. Holmes will host Taft at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Stevens will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
