Football Recap: Walhalla Falls to Landrum in First Game of Season

Walhalla unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 20-13 to the Landrum Cardinals on Friday. The Razorbacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

A big part of Landrum's victory came down to the chemistry between Ty Foster and his top target Braylon Revis. Foster threw for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Revis picked up 85 receiving yards and one score. Revis didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass.

Walhalla didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-28 defeat against Pickens on the 29th. As for Landrum, they have also already played their next contest, a 39-0 win against Berea on the 29th.
