After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Cabarrus, Gray Stone Day was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Leadership Academy Falcons a 10-0 shutout.
Emily Dorsey made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Dorsey was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
