Volleyball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren was the 2-0 winner over La Vernia when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Bears on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Karis Carpenter, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 17 matchups.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for La Vernia, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Warren has already played their next game (against Hendrickson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for La Vernia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pieper on the 28th.
