Softball Recap: Peniel Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Peniel Baptist Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell 5-2 to the Interlachen Rams. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Allison Peacock was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Peniel Baptist Academy and nudges their season record down to 15-5. As for Interlachen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-13.

Coincidentally, Peniel Baptist Academy and Interlachen will both be playing Crescent City the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them on Tuesday.
