Volleyball Recap: Peru Falls Despite Big Games from Jacey Boswell and Lilly Steele

Peru lost against South Adams back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Starfires. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peru's loss came despite strong showings from Lilly Steele and Jacey Boswell. Steele had 12 digs and one assist, while Boswell had three digs.

Peru's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Adams, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Peru will face off against Caston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Adams, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against North Miami on the 23rd.
