Baseball Recap: Largo Comes Up Short

Largo and East Lake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Largo had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Packers have suffered since March 4th.

Largo's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for East Lake, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Largo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Lake, they will square off against Sickles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gryphons have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
