Basketball Recap: Armada Takes a Loss

Armada entered their contest against Utica Eisenhower on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Armada Tigers came up short against the Utica Eisenhower Eagles, falling 62-37. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Armada's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Utica Eisenhower, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Coming up, Armada will face off against Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Yale will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Armada surely won't give up without a fight. As for Utica Eisenhower, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Utica Ford has won 11 straight at home, while Utica Eisenhower won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
