Football Recap: Stevenson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stevenson lost against Franklin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans had to suffer through a 43-11 loss at the hands of the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Patriots are ranked 94th).

Despite the loss, Stevenson still got an impressive performance from Tasso Kotsogiannis, who rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Stevenson has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Stevenson will face off against Dearborn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will square off against Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
