Baseball Recap: San Domenico Takes a Loss

San Domenico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 24-10 to the International Jaguars. Even if the Panthers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

San Domenico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Bennett, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. San Domenico is 2-1 when Bennett posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Julian Mackler was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

San Domenico now has a losing record of 3-4. As for International, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Domenico will face off against Urban at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
