Basketball Recap: Manistique Comes Up Short

Manistique was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They took a hard 53-38 fall against the Bark River-Harris Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-45 last Friday.

Manistique's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Bark River-Harris, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.

Manistique does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bark River-Harris, they will square off against Iron Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bark River-Harris will be up against Iron Mountain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.7 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
