Basketball Recap: Sophie Farr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Coginchaug Regional over Sheehan

If Coginchaug Regional was riding high fresh off their 75-33 takedown of Old Lyme last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils came up short against the Sheehan Titans on Saturday, falling 60-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered since February 1st.

Coginchaug Regional's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Farr, who posted 15 points and four steals. That was a full 38.5% of Coginchaug Regional's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Watson, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 10 points.
