Basketball Recap: Westbrook Comes Up Short

Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 63-54 to the Noble Knights. While losing is never fun, the Blue Blazes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Knights are ranked third).

Westbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Noble, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westbrook will challenge Marshwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Noble, they will square off against Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
