Basketball Recap: Archbishop Rummel Extends Winning Streak to Four

Archbishop Rummel posted their biggest victory since December 30, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Hamilton Christian Warriors 63-41. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on four straight.

Archbishop Rummel had a senior duo take command as TJ Duhe en route to 22 points along with six assists and four steals and Jackson Cosentino to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards Cosentino has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarcus Jones, who scored six points and seven rebounds.

Archbishop Rummel was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hamilton Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Javon Vital, who put up nine points in addition to eight boards and five assists. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Shawn Weston was another key player, putting up ten points.

Archbishop Rummel's record is now 19-10. As for Hamilton Christian, their record is now 16-8.

Archbishop Rummel has already played their next match, a 66-41 victory against Iowa on the 22nd. Hamilton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
