Softball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Wolves vs. North Crawford Trojans

Wonewoc-Center had lost nine straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-17 to make it ten. They fell just short of the North Crawford Trojans by a score of 11-10. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Peyton Wafle was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Kaitlyn Olson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

As for North Crawford, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-16. Considering their hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
