Basketball Recap: South Fulton Comes Up Short

If South Fulton was riding high fresh off their 73-39 takedown of Fulton City last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Fulton Red Devils were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 43-42 to the Dresden Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-73 last Monday.

South Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Dresden, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Fulton will host Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union City will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something South Fulton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dresden, they will square off against Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
