Basketball Recap: Curry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Curry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Danville Hawks and fell 70-36. The Yellowjackets were down 52-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Danville was led to victory by Donjay Compton and Ty Bailey. Compton went 9-for-15 on his way to 21 points, while Bailey dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Bailey's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jace Glenn, who posted six points.

Curry's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Danville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Curry and Vinemont will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Danville, they will take on Hatton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
