Baseball Recap: Bethel Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bethel Christian entered their tilt with Norton Science & Language Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Rockets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Kings have won five games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaeden Milhouse was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. Milhouse was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bethel Christian got a massive performance out of Elijah Scholl, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Scholl a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Tyler Backstrom, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.

Bethel Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

The victory got Bethel Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
