Huntsville waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Lawrence Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Huntsville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12.

Kennedy Moss paced Huntsville's offense, picking up seven kills. Moss got some help from Kaetlyn McGriff and her 12 assists. Charlotte Krichev controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Huntsville's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for East Lawrence, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntsville will welcome Thompson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lawrence, they will host West Morgan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
