Softball Recap: Cowanesque Valley Takes a Loss

Cowanesque Valley lost against Towanda back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Knights. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cowanesque Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilah LaBarron, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Cowanesque Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Towanda, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cowanesque Valley and Towanda will both be playing Troy the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Black Knights will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
