Soccer Game Preview: Huron vs. Port Clinton

The Huron Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Port Clinton Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, Huron came up short against Perkins and fell 3-1. Huron have struggled against Perkins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Port Clinton kept a clean sheet against Edison on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Chargers 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Port Clinton.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Port Clinton, the win got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Huron couldn't quite get it done against Port Clinton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
