Recap: Paradise Valley Trojans vs. North Canyon Rattlers

The Paradise Valley Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over North Canyon. The victory was familiar territory for Paradise Valley who now have three in a row.

Paradise Valley found their leader in underclassman Neha Patel, who scored 24 points along with seven assists and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Patel has scored at least 25% of Paradise Valley's points. North Canyon's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Adams and Trinity King. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Tyra Schneider was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Paradise Valley pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for North Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Paradise Valley and North Canyon will both be playing Central the next time they take the court. North Canyon will head out to face Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Paradise Valley will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
