Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Colonial on Monday, University came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the East River Falcons on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-9, 25-14.

Bella Seals had a dynamite game For East River., getting four digs and two aces. Seals is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Julia Adkins, who had 12 digs.

University's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for East River, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

When University and East River next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Cougars will try to stop Faith Christian's four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, East River will challenge Ocoee and their six-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
