Laneville better keep an eye on Jake Slaten. He was instrumental in Centerville's win, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Slaten's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hardy Brown, who posted ten points and five steals.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Laneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Laneville was taken down by Centerville 87-25 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Slaten, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 boards.
