Basketball Recap: Sweetwater Piles Up the Points Against Greenback

There's no place like home for Sweetwater, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by the Greenback Cherokees to the tune of 50-16 on Tuesday. That looming 50-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Sweetwater's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Greenback, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Sweetwater will host Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sweetwater is facing Gibbs at the right time seeing as Gibbs is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Greenback, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rockwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenback will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Rockwood will have lost four straight heading into Friday's contest.
