Basketball Game Preview: Mourning Sharks vs. Hialeah Thoroughbreds

The Mourning Sharks will challenge the Hialeah Thoroughbreds at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mourning is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Mourning lost to Carol City on the road by a 72-58 margin.

Meanwhile, Hialeah can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 65-52 win over Westland Hialeah.

Hialeah's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Mourning, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Mourning couldn't quite finish off Hialeah when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 76-74. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hialeah's Karon Jean-Charles, who went 8 for 16 en route to 22 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
