Volleyball Recap: Willow Canyon Victorious

The Willow Canyon Wildcats were able to grind out a solid victory over the Mountain View Mountain Lions on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

While Willow Canyon might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mountain View scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 28-26.

Jackson Blair paced Willow Canyon's offense, picking up 21 kills. Blair got some help from Ben Perkins and his 50 assists.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Brady Mau, who had 11 digs.

Willow Canyon's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Mountain View, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Willow Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Kellis on the 3rd. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Flowing Wells on the 3rd.
