Basketball Recap: Tarboro's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Tarboro got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 34-30 W over the Bertie Falcons on Tuesday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 48-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win snapped Tarboro's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-10 record. As for Bertie, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Tarboro will square off against Perquimans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Perquimans' defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Tarboro's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bertie, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-10 victory against North East Carolina Prep on the 5th.
