Baseball Recap: Redington Falls Short Against Ranked Homer

Redington faced Homer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 5-3. The Huskies have struggled against the Mariners recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Redington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Petzoldt, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another was Christian Ingraham, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Redington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Homer, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
