Football Recap: Pulaski Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Bryant

Pulaski Academy faced Bryant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bruins were outmatched by the Hornets and fell 48-14. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 41-7 to the Hornets when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Although Pulaski Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Javion Walker and Chase Hancock.

Even if they lost, Pulaski Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Ermon Tolbert and Austin Childers, who racked up four sacks between them. Tolbert also made seven total tackles, which is notable because Pulaski Academy is 2-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 0-3 otherwise.
