The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ludlowe, who took down 104th ranked Harding, 35-0.

The Falcons moved up to 107 from 135 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Fairfield County. Ludlowe climbed the ranks as a result of a 35-0 win over the Presidents.

Henry Baldwin and Christian Bognar gave Darien a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Baldwin threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns, while Bognar ran for 151 yards. Peter Archey also contributed to the rushing game with 26 yards on the ground.

Tyreik Gilbert was the best wideout in the league this week as Bassick lost to Warde. Gilbert racked up five receptions for 149 yards. Jihad Whitaker helped Bassick's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.

Vochan Fowler provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Lions fell to the Mustangs. He completed seven passes for 167 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 127 yards.

Darien's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Wave feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Baldwin has thrown for 870 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Nicholas Lombardo has 12 catches for 380 yards. Bognar leads the league in rushing with 415 yards.

A big matchup in Fairfield County this week will be when Trinity Catholic takes on Stamford. As it stands, the Crusaders are in first, while the Black Knights are in 10th.

The Blue Wave were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 11th to eighth in the league. Darien defeated Danbury 41-6 earlier in the week.
