Football Recap: Macksville Mustangs vs. Central Christian Cougars        
        
		
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Macksville can now relate to. They took a  blow against the Central Christian Cougars on Thursday, falling  48-6. The Mustangs' defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it five in a row.
 Central Christian's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nathan Reed, who threw for 282 yards and six touchdowns. Reed is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for four or more in the last three games he's  played.  Piercen Huff was  Reed's top target, picking up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
 Macksville's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Central Christian, their win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-1.
 Macksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they will face off against Logan/Palco at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Logan/Palco will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Central Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
