Baseball Recap: LaVille Takes a Loss

LaVille managed to slip by Jimtown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers lost 9-0 to the Jimmies on Friday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Lancers were not able to get on the board.

LaVille now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Jimtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaVille will take on Rochester at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jimtown, they will face off against Edwardsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jimmies 4.1, the Eddies 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
