East Lansing strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-40 W against the King Crusaders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since January 11th.

East Lansing got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelvin (KJ) Torbert, Jr. out in front who posted 13 points and six boards. Torbert, Jr. is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Kingston (KT) Thomas was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 15 points and eight rebounds.

East Lansing's record is now 4-0. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

East Lansing has already played their next contest, a 64-44 victory against Grand Ledge on the 16th. King has also already played their next game (against Cass Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
