 Rangely scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   21-18  win over the Dove Creek Bulldogs. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Rangely.
  Landon Carlson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Carlson was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs while going 5-for-6.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Dalton LeBleu, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his six plate appearances.
 On Dove Creek's side,  Taber Dejane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 5-for-7 with five  runs, six  RBI,  and a  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mike Coffey, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, Dove Creek  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 The  victory  got Rangely back to even at 4-4. As for Dove Creek, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Rangely will take on Aspen at 2:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Rangely has given up an average of 14.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Dove Creek, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Ignacio at 1:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Dove Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.8  runs per game  this season.
