Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran Northwest). They enjoyed a cozy 68-54 victory over the Roeper Roughriders on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Roughriders: they've now won five in a row.

Lutheran Northwest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Kasat, who went 8 of 13 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance also gave Kasat a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (60%). Isaac Henry was another key player, going 5 for 10 to rack up 11 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Lutheran Northwest pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.5% in those games and 29.9% outside of them. As for Roeper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lutheran Northwest will be playing in front of their home fans against Cranbrook Kingswood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roeper, they will venture away from home to face off against Oakland Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
